What is the KSM32 best suited for?
The KSM32 can be used for an almost endless range of applications, including vocals, acoustic and woodwind instruments, low frequency instruments such as the double bass and kick drum, and various overhead miking applications. The KSM32 can be used on stage as well as in the studio.
What characteristics can I expect from a KSM32?
You can expect a smooth, neutral reproduction with full character. The KSM32 is a clear, accurate and detailed microphone with a full and extended bass response. The addition of both gradual and steep high-pass filters allows the bass end to be dampened very effectively if necessary. Performance characteristics include very low self noise and high input SPL.
