- Service Type: Depending on area: “Collect Repair and Return” or “Return to base” service
- Terms: Warranty extension can be purchased within 3 months after product delivery. According to currently valid guarantee terms provided on the NDS-E website. General Maintenance service must be applied immediately (within one week) after the second year via one of our Authorized Service Center. Warranty claims are only accepted by NEC, if the defective product is presented within the warranty extension period together with the original invoice and the original Authorized Service Center maintenance receipt. Projectors operating under 24/7 conditions are likely to experience aging effects (e.g. brightness, color uniformity), which cause visible deterioration of image quality. Consequently NEC considers that projectors, which are operated as 24/7 , and which have visible image deterioration are nonetheless still offering an acceptable performance within the expected aging processes and will not be considered defective. Extended Warranty is only valid if serial numbers are provided.
- Exceptions: No extended warranty for lamps.
